When Should the Session Take Place?
The ideal time to photograph your newborn is between 5–21 days old. During this window, babies are still sleepy, curly, and typically more settled—making it easier to capture those dreamy, womb-like poses that parents love.
That said, if your baby arrives early, late, or needs a little extra time at home before their session, don’t worry. We’ve had wonderful success photographing babies up to 4–6 weeks old. Every baby is unique, and we tailor the session to suit their needs.
What If My Baby Is Already Here?
If your baby has already arrived and you didn’t book in advance—reach out anyway! While pre-booking is the best way to guarantee availability, we occasionally have last-minute openings and will always do our best to fit you in.
